    The California State Poker Championship typically draws the best of the West and with this year schedule will draw the world's best. This hotly contested series of events held annually in May stretches over 25 days, April 30-May 24th, 2009. The $5,100 Championship event will be a 3 day affair and will draw top pros as well as the many locals winning their way in for as little as $40. The opening weekend features a $400,000 Guarantee with only $335 buy-in. Single Table Satellites ($40-$540) begin April 24th $125/ $100 Super Satellites begin April 30th at 7pm
