Super Pan 9
Also called 'Pan 9' or 'Super 9'

The object is to have a total value of 9, or as close to 9 as possible. The value of a hand is determined by the sum of the cards. The last digit of the sum of a hand that has a value over ten is deemed the value of the hand. For example, if a hand contains 5-5-6, for a total of 16, it is considered to have a value of 6. All picture cards are valued at zero; all other cards are played at face value, although all 7s, 8s, 9s and 10s have been removed.

Each player, including the player/dealer, receives three cards on the deal, and the player/dealer must play according to the following rules:

• Stand on a hand totaling 7, 8 or 9—by placing the hand in the ‘NO CARD’ square.


• Draw a card on a hand that totals 0, 1, 2, 3 or 4—by placing the hand in the ‘CARD’ square.


• Decide whether or not to draw a card—by placing the hand in the appropriate square.

If you are not sure what to do, you may ask the casino dealer to play the hand for you according to the ‘House Way.’
