Object >To win at poker, you must have the best 5-card hand amongst your opponents or bluff them into thinking that you have the better hand.
In 7-Card Stud, the best five-card poker hand wins the pot.
Gameplay >Seven-Card Stud is played with two face-down cards and one face-up card dealt before the first betting round, followed by three more face-up cards (with a betting round after each card). On subsequent rounds, the high hand initiates the action. After the last face-down card is dealt, there is a final round of betting.
In all fixed-limit games, the smaller bet is wagered on the first two betting rounds, and the larger bet is wagered after the betting rounds on the fifth, sixth, and seventh cards. If there is an open pair on the fourth card, any player has the option of making the smaller or larger bet.
